Telstra should be ashamed to provide speeds which are less than ADSL on a cable plan and not been able to figure out the problem. I have now started seeking information form technical forums as I am convinced that the more intelligent people are the ones not employed by Telstra and i might be able to solve the problem via these forums. The speed has now been constantly slow since returning on July 10. Just did a check (5:45pm Friday afternoon) on Telstra's speedtest site and returned 1.14Mbps down and.80Mbps up. I.m sure it has never been that slow EVER. What has happend in the last month (when I was away) to reduce the speed that much???? I have had Telstra Cable for well over 2 years now, about 2 months ago it started to slow down. Mostly during peak periods it would drop to as low as 10Mbps, which I thought was lower than it should be even considering congestion.
